Stepping Into a Magical Toy Workshop: Ballet

Dancers will step directly into the pages of a whimsical classic storybook as they bring the charming tale of Coppelia to life. The morning begins with a professional yet engaging classical ballet warm-up designed to develop posture, grace, and foundational technique. Young dancers will explore character dance elements, learning how to use expressive pantomime and theatrical movement to portray the clockwork movements
of Dr. Coppelius's famous mechanical dolls. The studio will be filled with classical music and bright energy as students practice their coordination, leaps, and turns, transforming technical training into a magical, storytelling experience.

Beyond the ballet barre, the day is packed with creative adventures that keep campers fully immersed in the Enchanted Storybook theme. Dancers will participate in hands-on crafting to build their own custom doll-themed props and mechanical gears, which they will get to use during their afternoon dancing. After a dedicated lunch and rest hour to
recharge, the kids will dive into dramatic theater games that build stage confidence, culminating in a special afternoon rehearsal. By dismissal, they will have pieced together a beautiful Coppelia story combination, blending structured, high-quality ballet instruction with the pure joy of artistic expression.
